Definition

Adverbs are words that typically modify verbs and adjectives. They may also modify other adverbs and nouns (see examples below).

Examples

• güzel okudu “he/she has read well”
• çok güzel okudu “he/she has read very well”
• çok güzel bir kız “a very pretty girl”
• evi de satmış “he/she sold the house too”
